Whether you are creating a course from scratch or refining material from one of your existing courses, we invite you to join us for a two-day, hands-on workshop series designed to help you prepare one of your fall courses in Canvas.
The Canvas Course Prep Institute (CCPI) will introduce essential Canvas tools and give you practice in using them to build your course. You will learn principles for designing courses that are more accessible for all learners and easier for your students to navigate. You will also be encouraged to ask questions and will hear ideas from colleagues about how they are planning to use Canvas tools in their courses.
Please note: The CCPI will meet on-campus on July 16 and via Zoom on July 17.
On July 16, the CCPI will meet on-campus to introduce essential Canvas tools that apply to all courses. The institute will meet from 10 AM to 2 PM. Lunch will be provided. Coffee, tea, water, and snacks will be available throughout the day.
On July 17, the CCPI will meet via Zoom as a series of brief virtual workshops. You are invited to attend all of the virtual workshops or to select those focused on tools that you plan to use.

Spaces are limited. Participants will be asked to prepare specific course content before the Institute, so that we can spend our time together focused on adding the content to Canvas.
