ABOUT ALL RISE

Our history of glass shattering began over eighty years ago with Marian Archer, JD’37, the first woman to graduate from the Law School, and continued with the beloved Professor Catherine T. Judge, JD’57, LLM’60, the School’s first full-time female professor. All Rise celebrates Suffolk Law’s rich history of successful alumnae and their ongoing contributions to the legal field.

For the past two years, the Suffolk Law community has gathered to celebrate its rich history of alumnae and their contributions to the field through our All Rise: Uniting to Advance Women and the Future of Law event.  Our special program celebrates the Law School’s legacy, history and excellence by honoring and celebrating the remarkable achievements of alumnae and faculty trailblazers. Our annual event includes a speaking program, alumnae panel and awards ceremony that includes recognizing a female faculty member with the Catherine T. Judge Teaching and Service Award and a distinguished alumna with the Marian Archer “Trailblazer” Award.
