Our November 18th award program will honor Professor Emerita of Law Victoria Dodd posthumously with The Catherine T. Judge Teaching and Service Award and present the Marian Archer Trailblazer Award to a distinguished alumna.

Join us for our third annual All Rise event.  Our virtual event highlights include:

  • Presenting distinguished alumna the Honorable Marianne B. Bowler, JD’76, HLLD’94, United States Magistrate Judge, District of Massachusetts with the Marian Archer Trailblazer Award
  • Honoring Victoria Dodd, Professor Emerita of Law, posthumously with the Catherine T. Judge Teaching and Service Award.
  • Featuring part one of our two-part alumnae panel series: “Rise Up, Speak Up and Lift Every Voice,” which highlights individual and collective actions to advance racial and gender equity and justice.   Our second panel will be held on March 8, 2021 (International Women’s Day) during Suffolk Law’s Diversity Week.

Proceeds raised from our event will benefit the Catherine T. Judge Scholarship Fund and Suffolk Law’s Student Emergency Assistance Fund.

About All Rise

Our history of glass shattering began over eighty years ago with Marian Archer, JD’37, the first woman to graduate from the Law School, and continued with the beloved Professor Catherine T. Judge, JD’57, LLM’60, the School’s first full-time female professor.
