Umai Sushi- Newbury St,

Tonight I ate at this delicious sushi restaurant on Newbury St. and wanted you all to know about it! The restaurant is called Umai Sushi can be found on 224 Newbury St. which is just a few doors down from the Zara store. My friend and I both ordered two different kinds of rolls and shared them with each other. I definitely recommend the spicy salmon tempura flake roll, teriyaki chicken roll, filet mignon roll, and the tuna tempura flake roll.

I apologize for the blurry images, we were in a big hurry to eat our food because it looked so good (and we were starving)!

Espresso Royale Caffe-Sofia Bruno

Espresso Royale is a caffe located at 286 Newbury street.  The baristas here are great and really know how to make a cup of coffee.  If you prefer tea they have a variety of loose leaf teas to choose from.  Espresso Royale gets fresh bagels in daily along with an assortment of baked goods.  What truly sets this coffee shop apart from the rest is its unique and relaxed atmosphere and dedication to its customers.  Outdoor seating at street level is available on nice days making it the perfect place to relax while enjoying a cup of coffee.

Temple Street Fair

So I didn’t really think i was gonna find something to join at the Temple Street Fair, but i was wrong. I came across the table for Sigma Alpha Epsilon. So now I’m going to Rush Week activities for a fraternity. I’ve always wanted to join one and like the idea of having brothers who care about you no matter what. I went to play football with a few of the brothers and a  few recruits. It was a fun time and I hope I made a good impression. Since there is no hazing the way to get in is if they like you. The next activity, which was today, was the Wing Night. We went to Kinsale for some very good and very cheap ($2 a person). It’s on Tremont Street across from Gov’t Center. Anyway SAE is definatley something I’ll be sticking with for more than just this class.

Barstool

So we gotta write about something we recommend to the class, so i picked Barstoolsports.com. It’s a local website/blog/party-thrower that is targeted towards college kids. I’ll give you a heads up, it’s not for everyone. Basically the site is broken into 6 parts. There’s Boston, New York, Phily, Chicago, the U (University) and lastly the Superblog which combines all of them. elprez is in charge, he runs Boston as well. KFC runs New York and is one of the funniest people on the internet. Maurice runs Phily, he’s not funny, same with Neil from Chicago. Kmarko runs BarstoolU he is mostly in charge of throwing parties, F*ckin Foam and Blackouts. Bad news is that not everyone likes them and they’re banned from the city of Boston. Anyway give it a look if you wanna kill some time or see funny stories from around the internet.
