Recently, I went shopping on Newbury Street. I haven’t been there for a while, and with Christmas fast approaching, I thought it would be a good time to go. I forgot how many great stores there are! The Forever 21 has three floors- I repeat three floors- so obviously I was in heaven. Newbury Comics is also huge there. The little shops and boutiques are so fun to browse in. Going there made me really appreciate being able to go to school in the city- everything you want is right there, and only a short T ride away.

Winter Break- Amanda Doran
I am so excited for the Christmas break. It will be nice to get away from all of the work and stress of finals. However, that being said I am really going to miss it here! I do not want to leave for a whole month. I really don’t want to leave all of the friends I’ve made here. A few of my friends are also transferring also so I am really going to miss them. However, it will be nice spending time with my friends and family at home for the Holidays.
Max and Dylans – Amanda
Max and Dylans is a restaurant right across from my building, 10 West. I went there for lunch with my friends and the food is amazing! They are famous for their delicious mac and cheese, and they have six different types of it! I don’t even like mac and cheese and I am obsessed with the proscuitto macaroni and cheese. One of my friends got the buffalo chicken mac and cheese and it was also so yummy. Whether you’re a mac and cheese enthusiast or just looking for a homey restaurant with a good vibe, Max and Dylans is the place to go!

Hi everyone, I’m Amanda! I come from North Reading, MA, about a half hour away from Boston. My major is undecided but I am leaning towards criminal justice. I love all types of music from indie to rock, and I was in the swim team and did mock trial in high school. I love to laugh and just have a good time. I am really laid back and easygoing.
