Erich Heneke is currently Director of Business Integrity and Continuity in Mayo Clinic’s Supply Chain Management (SCM). His financial emphasis is in Enterprise & Supplier Risk Management, Audit/Controls, and Financial Planning & Analysis. Erich has worked in Mayo SCM for 14 years, focusing his efforts on sound SCM controls, fraud prevention/detection, the accuracy of balance sheet accounting, third party risk management, and other controls-related work, including Mayo’s voluntary Sox compliance.
During his time at Mayo, Erich and his team have completed several projects addressing proper controls with Supply Chain, including: development of an award-winning credit card risk scoring platform, completion of segregation of duties project mapping employees’ accesses across multiple applications, detection of several types of overpayments to vendors – including detection, collection, and prevention of future leakage, automated management of pharmaceutical pricing and several other initiatives. Finally, Erich’s team has been instrumental in co-founding the Healthcare Industry Resilience Collaborative (HIRC), a leading provider/supplier coalition on improving healthcare’s supply resiliency across the industry.
