THE CENTER FOR CONTINUING & PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION POLICIES

Withdrawal and Refund Policies

Tuition: Please refer to individual courses and certificate programs to see tuition policies.

Refunds: Once the certificate/course begins, CCPE will not issue tuition refunds for withdrawals. However, if a student submits a written request to withdraw from the course/certificate within the first two weeks of the course start, we may offer the opportunity to begin the same (or equally priced) course/certificate at a later date.

Withdrawals: Students should request to withdraw from the course/certificate in writing by emailing ccpe@suffolk.edu. If a student is requesting a withdrawal within the first two weeks of the course but would like the opportunity to restart the course at a later date, please indicate this in the communication, and the request will be reviewed within 48 hours. Please note: If a student never logs in or stops actively participating in the course without written communication to CCPE (ccpe@suffolk.edu), they will be removed from the course after the second week of inactivity and will forfeit the opportunity to apply the program fee paid to retake the course at a later date.

Students will be allowed one opportunity to withdraw and restart a certificate program. Students will have 1 year from the start of the term in which they entered to complete the certificate program. (Example: If a student enrolls in a certificate program in September 2023 and then withdraws, the student will have until September 2024 to re-enroll.)
