Designed for new managers and senior leaders working in all business disciplines, our programs are hands-on and participant-driven. Live case studies allow participants to build practical skills that are relevant to their own unique workplace challenges and industries.
Program length can vary from a half-day to several months and can be offered on site or at Suffolk’s downtown Boston campus. Our experienced faculty lead courses in areas including:

Our Design and Delivery Process
- Assessment: We meet with you to understand your core business challenges, identify competency gaps, and establish a vision.
- Course Design: Next, we help you identify your organizational learning objectives and determine the best format and schedule for the program. Working with Suffolk’s diverse faculty, you’ll have specialized experts developing program material that’s tailored to you. We will work together to choose from and combine a variety of possible program elements, including seminar-style content modules, 360 leadership assessments, facilitated peer group coaching, and one-on-one coaching sessions.
- Program Delivery: Your program can be offered on site or at Suffolk’s downtown Boston campus—a global hub for financial services, innovation, biotech, and healthcare. Each program is experiential and emphasizes action-oriented, hands-on learning. Class discussions are based on actual organizational challenges from participants, not textbook examples.
- Evaluation: After the program, we work with you to evaluate the program’s effectiveness and determine how to refine content for the next delivery or follow-up program.

Client Spotlight: Manulife
Every summer, Toronto-based Manulife Financial Corporation sends 30 executives to Boston from across its global centers for three days of intensive learning about compliance, risk, audit, legal, and other topics.
The goal is to “stretch the thinking” of the executives, according to Bill Corson, senior managing director, Head of Global Compliance at Manulife Asset Management. “We might be very familiar with a specific topic on a day-to-day basis, but with the help of Suffolk’s professors, we’re able to do a deeper dive on a topic.”
Unlike other universities that run similar programs, Suffolk works closely with clients like Manulife to understand their priorities and provide them with a robust curriculum that’s relevant for their executives.
