The theme for the 2024 Symposium was Belonging and Balance. 

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Tracie Marcella Addy

Attendees were invited to consider the many ways in which belonging and balance enter into their work with students with the following questions: 

• What tools, books, mentors, or experiences have been most supportive in helping you implement changes that have increased student belonging in your classroom?  
• What are the sources of self-care, renewal, and inspiration, that have helped spark your purpose and motivation as an educator? What resources have impacted your own sense of belonging at Suffolk or other institutions? 
• What pedagogical touchstones have steadied you in the face of changing technologies, approaches, and conditions? 
• How might we think about sharing our experiences to grow as a teaching and learning community?
