At this special event, President Marisa Kelly and the Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) Council honored 10 recent alumni who are making outstanding contributions to their communities, professions and/or Suffolk University! This year’s event was hosted by former 10 Under 10 honoree, Breana Pitts, BA’12. 

Performing Arts Office – Spring Fest
Celebrate Spring Fest, Suffolk’s longest running arts tradition. This star-studded variety show featured the hidden and not-so-hidden talents of Suffolk students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

Author’s Corner: Patricia Falvey, BSBA ’70 
Irish-American author and Suffolk alumna, Patricia Falvey, is the author of four novels thus far – ‘The Yellow House,’ ‘The Linen Queen,’ ‘The Girls of Ennismore’ and her latest, ‘The Titanic Sisters.’ Patricia shared her story of becoming a writer, including how she left a successful career in corporate America to pursue her passion.

Lunch and Learn: The Future of Theatre
Attendees joined the Theatre Department Chair and Professor, Marilyn Plotkins, along with Theatre faculty members, Richard Chambers, Laura Shink, Heather Sterns, and Visiting Artist, Maurice Parent, for a discussion on the future of the theatre industry and the performing arts which have been so negatively impacted by the pandemic.

Judge Frank Caprio JD’65, HLLD’91, star of “Caught in Providence,” and Judge John Schlesinger JD’87, legal commentator on “The People’s Court,” talked about trials in a non-traditional courtroom. This program was moderated by Alison King, Political Reporter NBC 10 Boston.

This program was moderated by former Suffolk Rams Women’s Volleyball player and current member of the College of Arts & Sciences Alumni Board, Krystle Ongaco, BA ’04.
