The Show Must Go On!
SpringFest has been a Suffolk tradition for almost half a century. It has taken on a variety of forms during that time – it used to feature a baking competition, and for a time it was FallFest –
but this will be the first time you can watch it at home.
Every year, the Suffolk community gathers to celebrate the arts and community at Suffolk with a star-studded variety show featuring the hidden and not-so-hidden talents of Suffolk students, faculty, staff and alumni. It highlights what is at the heart of Suffolk – creativity, diversity, joy and unity.
Although we are unable to gather this year as we have in the past, we decided this was a “the show must go on” moment. We couldn’t let this be the first time in 48 years that Suffolk didn’t have a SpringFest. And students, faculty, staff and alums across the globe have responded to the call.
In a lot of ways, this change in format has showcased who we are at Suffolk – we are honoring our traditions while being flexible enough to adapt to new circumstances. We are thinking creatively and problem solving. We are pulling together as a community to support each other and to celebrate each other. We aren’t giving up even when things are hard. And that’s Suffolk.
