Voices of Public Leaders is a new podcast intended to capture the perspectives of those working in the public sector- at local, state and federal levels as well as those in nonprofit organizations- particularly during these unprecedented times.
If you are a public leader, we want to hear from you! Your title does not need to represent a managerial role for you to be considered a leader. We want to hear it all- the challenges, the opportunities for change and everything in the middle.

Hello! I’m Dr. Lauren Hajjar, a public administration educator and researcher of organizational change and culture. I believe public sector work is critical to the basic functioning of our communities across the globe. The work of our public leaders is changing quickly right now and will impact the way work gets done and how services are provided to the public for years to come. The purpose of the VPL podcast is to elevate the voices of those on the frontlines to advance our knowledge of what works and what doesn’t within government and nonprofit organizations.
