On & Off Campus Events

University Media Services offers logistical support, personnel, and technical assistance in support of on and off campus events.

Whether your special event is in the Keches Room, the Commons or off-campus at one of the many Boston-area hotels, Media Services prides itself on delivering excellence in supporting these mission critical events.

Students utilize our equipment for movie nights, comedy shows, dinner theatre, and other music and dance performances around campus. Many departments such as Admissions, Advancement, and Dean of Student’s office look to UMS for assistance with various special events including Open House, Alumni Weekend activities, Guest Lecturers, and Commencement.

University Media Services supports the technical planning, design, and execution of events for on-campus and off-campus venues such as hotels and restaurants that include staging, video projection, stage lighting, single camera or multi-camera production and image magnification, as well as sound systems so that your functions are successful, exciting, and engaging.
