My Seoul Bucket List

Hello everyone! I am Stephanie Bulega a Law & International Relations double major. During the spring ’22 semester, I studied abroad at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. I enjoyed being a student at Yonsei University because there were many different events on campus and even off campus there was so much to do that I was never bored.

  • Get a film camera from a camera store or vending machine 
  • Get school supplies from a stationary store before school starts 
  • Go on many Daiso & Artbox runs  
  • Go into as many photobooths with friends as you can
  • Go out with friends in Itaewon, Gangnam, & Hongdae 
  • Visit an animal cafe 
  • Go to Namsan Tower & get a lock or memory capsule 
  • See the library in Coex Mall

Food to Try:  Croffles, Souffle Pancakes, Bingsu, Creme Brulee Marshmallow, Tteokbokki, Naymeon, Shrimp Toast, Korean Fried Chicken, Mandu, Ramyeon, Donkatsu, Black bean noodles, Korean Barbecue, Sticky rice donuts, Red bean bread, &  Korean corn dog

 

 

  • Go to Mangwon market   My Busan trip visiting Gamcheon culture village
  • Visit exhibitions in Itaewon  
  • Go to Gyeongbokgung Palace 
  • Go cafe hopping~ A list of my favorites 
    • Doksuri Dabang
    • Banana Presso 
    • Gabean  
    • Art Shift 
    • Shinleedoga Cafe 

 

 

  •  See the cherry blossoms at Yeouido ParkKorea's royal palace Gyeongbokgung Palace
  •  Have a picnic by the Han River & get food from the street vendors or the convenience store
  •  Go to the Buddha’s Birthday Lantern Festival
  • Go to Euljiro at night and see the neon lights
  • Go to Insadong for museums, crafts, & souvenir shops  
  • Travel outside of Seoul to Busan, Jeju Island, Suwon, Jeonju, or Sekocho
