INTERVIEW: Danielle Ruff

INSTARAM: What is your major/year?
DANIELLE RUFF: Theatre Major PR Minor/Class of 2014

What activities are you involved in on and off campus?
RUFF: I’ve been heavily involved in the Theatre productions on Campus and The Modern Theatre. Off Campus I work as a street team member for Broadway in Boston, and an Ambassador for Blue Man Group. I like to stay busy, but someone I still manage to make some friends that can deal with that.

How did you find your way around campus? What advice do you have for the incoming freshmen?
RUFF: I found my way around campus by asking upperclassmen who I had met at work study and by just exploring on my own. My advice: Do not be afraid to approach upperclassmen, this is not like high school. Also don’t be afraid to explore on your own, both on and off campus. I’ve had some of the coolest adventures exploring by myself.

What has been your greatest accomplishment at Suffolk?
RUFF: My greatest accomplishment thus far at Suffolk has to be…oh gosh I don’t even know. Probably Stage-Managing the Crucible. It was the biggest struggle ever and ultimately helped me to realize that I most certainly never want to Stage-Manage again. However, I did accomplish it and now I know to move on to something new.

Random Question: What is one song you are ashamed to admit you know every lyric to?
RUFF: Live While Were Young by One Direction or Tonight I’m getting over you by Carly Rae Jepsen
