NESAD exhibit “Away for the Summer: Work from the Study Abroad Programs”.  Check out some amazing pieces your fellow students have created in Spain, Italy, and Prague!

Monday 23rd: 

7-8:30: The Wellness & Health Promotion Office in the Department of Counseling & Health Services invites you to this fun 4-part program!  Each week we will have a different activity (such as massage, Zumba, & sleep kits) that will help you combat your stress and improve your sleep. Perfect for new and continuing students. This week is Zumba!

Tuesday 24th:

12-2: Bike Workshop! Have your bike tuned and repaired for FREE and learn about biking safely in the city of Boston. Biking is a great way to stay active and conserve energy. First 15 students will be served. There will be free food and fun! In the Donahue Parking lot

Wednesday 25th:

6:00: Free with Suffolk ID! Downtown Boston’s Movie Palaces, a conversation with author Arthur Singer. Join author Art Singer as he takes us on a fascinating journey into Boston’s film and movie house past.

Thursday 26th:

7:00: In Between:  A one-man show written and directed by Ibrahim Miari. In Between is a semi-autobiographical one man show that portrays the complexities and contradictions inherent in Palestinian-Israeli identity. On the precipice between two cultures stands Ibrahim Miari, son of a Palestinian Muslim father and Jewish Israeli mother. During an interrogation by Israeli airport security, he recalls his childhood in Acco, memories of his Jewish and Palestinian grandmothers, of war. Questions surrounding his identity become even further complicated by his imminent marriage to a Jewish American woman. A discussion with the artist will follow the performance. FREE WITH SUFFOLK ID!

10pm: Seriously Bent show in the 150 Basement!

Friday 27th:

6-9: Who doesn’t love a good bingo game and a burrito? Suffolk students are welcome to a traditional bingo night in the Donahue Cafe. The winners of each round will receive ram account money, good at local restaurants and vendors. Get connected to Boston, Suffolk and friends! Donahue Cafe!
