Hello, InstaRammers!
After a summer off, we finally kicked off our first contest of the school year last week. Our winner, Caroline White, won a Dunkin Donuts gift card AND a feature on our blog this week (and we’re going to pretend that’s a big-time-prize!)
INSTARAM: What is your major/year? What are you involved in on and off campus?
CAROLINE WHITE: I am a Junior but I’m graduating this spring! I am a philosophy major and I am going on to graduate school for social work. I am a member of Jumpstart and I am a service learning faculty assistant.
What do you do to de-stress during the school year?
WHITE: During the year I like to reorganize myself and write down a check list of everything I need to accomplish. That way I can create a plan and not have it all jumbled. I also like to just relax abs hang out with my boyfriend and friends to get away from everything for a while.
What is your favorite memory at Suffolk?
WHITE: My favorite Suffolk memory was joining Jumpstart and finally deciding what to do with my life! Or…meeting Stephanie Yackovetsky if she’s reading this…
What advice do you have for the incoming students?
WHITE: Every freshman needs to get involved on campus. It’s hard starting somewhere new and going to a brand new club or event, but in the end it’s worth it! I was totally scared but that’s how I met all my friends!
Random question: What are you getting with your Dunkin Donuts gift card??
WHITE: I am totally getting a Coffee Coolatta before they’re out of season!
