Part of being an MBA is the connections that you make. Connections aren’t just the people who are in your group in a particular class but the lifelong business and personal relationships you build. These are people who will hire you, refer you, support you, challenge you and help you realize your worth. But you have to show up.

Connections are everything in business and life. I haven’t formally interviewed for a job since I was in my 20s. Every job I’ve had since then has been based on connections. That doesn’t mean that I wasn’t vetted – it means that I didn’t formally submit my resume for a job and compete with a plethora of others to get a role. I found out about the job through connections and then had discussions about what I could offer. Connections have been everything in my career. And most everyone else’s too.

This blog is a way for you to build these connections. It’s a way to connect and share your experiences with your peers, showcase who you are, and explore what’s possible.

Join us. Connect. Move beyond your classes and build those relationships that will enable your career and life success.

Welcome.
