Saidakhon Akhmedova
Saida Akhmedova is a Design Associate at PRA Architects, with over six years of professional experience on institutional, municipal, and residential projects. The newest addition to the PRA team, Saida brings successful design and project management experience having worked on institutional projects at Harvard University, Boston University and Tufts University. Saida is involved in all phases of project work, from schematic design to construction administration, and has become an asset to PRA’s Building Information Modelling efforts during all project phases.
After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunication from Tashkent Telecommunication University in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Saida began studying in the United States, earning an Associates of Interior Design degree from The Art Institute of New York City in 2011, and subsequently a Bachelors of Architecture degree from Boston Architectural College in 2016. Saida enjoys athletic activities including running, cycling and yoga. She finished Boston Marathon 2018 and Maine Marathon 2018.
Paige Arbesman
Paige Arbesman is excited to be a member of Suffolk University’s Master of Business Administration class this fall 2018. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Paige moved to Boston four years ago to complete her undergraduate degree at Boston University in Hospitality Administration. With her most recent internships at Coje Restaurant Management Group and Nucap Industries, Paige was able to realize that business was her passion. With this, directly following her recent graduation with a BS, Paige decided to continue her education in business with a concentration in Marketing Analytics. With an MBA from Suffolk University, Paige looks to join a corporation that combines creativity with data to excel in our growing economy. In her free time, Paige enjoys traveling and yoga.
Alexandra Bain
As an FX Product Specialist in SSGM, Alexandra is the primary point of contact for Currency Management clients. Her main responsibility is working with the clients, internal State Street teams, as well as external data agents in order to ensure data is communicated timely and effectively to ensure a successful client launch. Alexandra then continues to work with the clients and relevant parties to manage implementations and projects that impact Currency Management services. Alexandra graduated from Roger Williams University in May of 2015 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance and a minor in Global Communications. During her time at Roger Williams, she was accepted into the Center for Advance Financial Education program where she had the opportunity to manage two real-dollar portfolios and present their earnings to financial firms in Zurich, Switzerland. Outside of work, Alexandra enjoys reading and spending time with family, friends, and her two dogs.
Michael Barrow
Michael Barrow is a US Navy veteran who served in the military from 2014 to 2017. During his time in the Navy, Michael trained with Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technicians as a communications specialist stationed out of Jacksonville, Florida. Following his military service, Michael moved to Boston to pursue a career in finance. He currently works as an operations intern at State Street Bank. Michael plans on becoming a CFA charterholder and transitioning towards a career in investment management. He is confident that Suffolk University’s dual MBA/MSF program will help prepare him for a successful career in the financial industry. Michael is an alumnus of Valley Forge Military Academy and holds a BA in International Studies from The Ohio State University. Outside of work Michael is passionate about rock-climbing, sampling local craft beer, and exploring the Boston area.
Michael Bonneti
Michael Bonetti graduated from Suffolk University in 2018 with a degree in Marketing. He joined Boston City Councilor Lydia Edwards that year as her North End Liaison for the North End of Boston where he has resided since birth. Prior to working for the City of Boston, Michael worked as the Director of Marketing for a small Garden Center in Woburn, Massachusetts: McCue Garden Center. When he is not working, Michael enjoys the many organizations that he is a part of in his community, one being Sant’Antonio di Padova da Montefalcione Society which conducts the annual famous North End Feast: Saint Anthony’s Feast.
Michael Buccino
Michael is an MBA and JD Candidate for 2021. Michael Buccino is excited to be a member of the Suffolk University Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration class of 2021. From Massachusetts, Michael attended Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida where he earned a BA in Business. Michael aspires to be an entrepreneur, owning and operating his own business. In 2016, he co-founded a dental supply company with his father, a pediatric dentist with two offices, to decrease the costs of sourcing dental supplies. Michael has been growing this business with his father while also completing his first year of law school and beginning his first year of business school. Michael also highly values community engagement, having been an assistant coach for a middle school crew team while at Rollins as well as volunteering as a judge for the Boston Debate League. Michael is an avid golfer and outdoorsman and is currently pursuing his private pilot’s license.
Linh Bui
Linh is an MSA/MBA Candidate. Linh got her BS in business management at Keuka College, Keuka Park, NY. She had a great start to learn and improve her knowledge in accounting and management field with two short internships at Vntower Corporation in Vietnam. She found out she totally enjoy working with numbers and data. Prior to joining the Suffolk University, she had six months working as a multi office manager in H&R Block, Inc. She invested her time with her team dealing with problems and solutions, led the team to deliver outstanding client service and exceed targeted goals. Becoming a member of Suffolk University is a big opportunity that she wants to take. With an MSA/MBA from the Sawyer Business School, Linh looks forward to join and learn from a professional community to reach her goal as an expert in accounting and business management in the future.
Jessica Charette
Jessica is an Investment Operations Specialist at GW&K Investment Management. Jessica currently works in the Operations team where she reconciles thousands of accounts managed by GW&K, while also responsible for corporate action processing. Prior to GW&K, Jessica worked at State Street full time as a Cash Custody and Trade Associate. On the Cash Custody and Trade team, Jessica was responsible for maintaining cash accounts and daily wires to and from State Street. She also worked as an intern for the Security Valuation team in State Street for two years while pursuing her undergraduate degree. Jessica studied at the University of Massachusetts Boston where she received her BS in Management Concentration Finance and BA in Economics in 2016. Recently, Jessica became an avid runner competing in numerous races and aiming to complete her first marathon next year.
Kelly Chen
Kelly joined Pactera — the largest IT service company in China with 30,000+ employees, in 2013. She is currently the Director of Service Management. She is responsible for IT service process management, IT fixed asset management, IT budget control, and supervision of 12 direct reports. As the youngest director in this big company, Kelly always works hard and delivers great service with her professional, passion, communication skills and excellent leadership. As an icon of her department, Kelly was continually nominated as the ambassador of the corp. culture campaign for four years. She played the heroine in the corp. cultural propaganda film, led IT department’s micro film shooting and won the Best Documentary for the competition. Prior to Pactera, she worked in the importing industry as a business manager to manage the oversea suppliers and the international logistics.
Kelly is taking a part-time MBA program at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in Beijing, China since Sep 2017 where she desires to step out of her comfort zone and pursue more knowledge of economy, finance, marketing, management to facilitate her career transfer into consultant area. During her time at UIBE, she was elected as the president of the MBA Student Union for 2017 and she has held a series of active campaigns for the MBA fellow students and MBA center. She has also enrolled in the Cambridge University study tour and Harvard University study tour program sponsored by UIBE business school in 2018. She graduated from Shandong Agricultural University in 2010 with a BA degree in English Literature. After her exploration of some European countries like UK, France, Germany, etc. and some Asian countries as well, Kelly is excited to participate in the exchange program at Suffolk for the Fall 2018 Semester and began another experience for the U.S. culture. She loves the feeling of uncovering the possibilities of life and chasing dreams. Kelly enjoys travelling, yoga, running, and strength training during her leisure time, she is also planning to take part in the 8th Asia-Pacific Business School Desert Challenge which will be held in May, 2019 at Tengger Desert in China.
Charlene Chinn
Charlene graduated from Springfield College in 2011 with a degree in Criminal Justice. Following Springfield College Charlene later went on to get her JD from Massachusetts School of Law at Andover. She joined Nutter McClennen & Fish as a Talent Management Coordinator working primarily in Diversity, Legal Recruiting and Human Resources. When she is not working Charlene is sitting by the water reading a good book or cheering on the Boston Celtics during Basketball season.
Artem Demidov
Artem graduated Utica College in 2016 with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Prior to his time as an undergrad he served on active duty in the US Air Force. During his military career he sustained base operations by providing logistical support on Eglin AFB, Florida. Upon completion of his military service, he later transitioned into the public sector where he delivered logistical mission support for the Air Force Research Laboratory – Information Directorate based out of Rome, NY. After nearly 8 years of dedicated military and civilian service to the US Air Force, Artem decided to further his education and knowledge by pursuing an MBA degree at Suffolk University – Sawyer Business School. During his spare time Artem also enjoys playing golf, maintaining physical fitness, and exploring the city of Boston.
Sunni Dominguez
Sunni Dominguez is obtaining her dual degree Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Business Analytics from Suffolk University beginning in the fall of 2018. Sunni completed her undergraduate study at Elon University in North Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in Mathematics with minor concentrations in Business and Psychology. Sunni has previously worked as a transcriptionist at DH Reporting Services, where she transcribed proceedings for the Massachusetts Trial Courts, including the Supreme Judicial Court, the highest judicial authority in Massachusetts. Prior to that, Sunni worked as a technical assistant at Eastern Insurance. She also previously interned for the Red Sox Charitable Foundation. In her free time, Sunni has a passion for traveling and experiencing different cultures.
Rebecca Duarte
Rebecca is a lawyer with vast experience in full consultation for infrastructure projects and also as an in-house lawyer. In the past few years she has worked with a beverage industry as a legal department manager. She is responsible for verifying the legality of the commercial transactions, managing the service of the outside law firms and also giving legal and business advice to the Board of Directors. During law school, Rebecca was a volunteer conciliator at the Court of Justice and she also worked as a paralegal agent in the Municipal Consumer Agency. After graduation, she joined a top-ten law firm in Brazil where she matured as a lawyer in the areas of public procurement, privatization, regulatory, administrative contracts, concessions and Public Private Partnerships. Rebecca has lived in Australia and Canada. She currently lives in the US as of 2017, when her husband engaged in a post-doc in neurology at Harvard University. In her free time, Rebecca loves to go jogging and explore Boston by bike.
Fatima Fraga-Alvarez
Fatima Fraga-Alvarez graduated from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2018 with a degree in Operations Management and Management Information Systems-Technology with a minor in International Business. She joined The Hanover Insurance Group as an operation intern within their Operations Department where she oversaw the volume of the renewal referral policies. She also helped managed a referral research project to analyze the data gathered from the insurers. She has a fellowship in the Information Systems & Operations Management Department at Suffolk University. She currently works as a Teaching Assistant where she provides help to students needing to strengthen class material. When she is not working, Fatima enjoys watching soccer games with her family and sledding activities during the snow season.
Lia Gabrielle
Lia is a recent graduate from Suffolk University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology, as well as minors in Sociology and Business Management. As she is pursuing her MBA, Lia currently works part time for the Red Sox in their Fan and Youth Engagement department and is also a Graduate Fellow in the Sawyer Business Schools’ Dean’s Office. Additionally, she has held two internships at small non-profits in organizational and development roles, as well as a Research Assistant position studying the effects of racism in the classroom. As an individual who studies the intersection of humanities and business, Lia is deeply passionate about finding ways to viably solve problems and improve overall quality of life. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, reading, dancing and eating delicious food!
Kristin Gordon
Kristin graduated from Boston College in 2015 with a degree in Sociology. She joined State Street Corporation as a member of a two-year leadership development program, completing rotations within Global Human Resources and Corporate Finance. Kristin currently works in organizational change management supporting the introduction and adoption of new technologies and processes. Olivia Gormley
Olivia Gormley is an incoming graduate student at Suffolk University pursing her Masters of Business Administration and Masters of Science in Marketing degrees. As an undergrad student of Salve Regina University, she majored in Business Administration along with a Dance minor. There she studied various business techniques to aid in her future career by working alongside several local business owners in the Newport County. Her passion for dance refused to end in college where she danced for numerous nationwide choreographers and studied the art and history of dance. Accomplishing an MBA and MSM from Suffolk University Sawyer Business School, Olivia hopes to one day own and operate an organization herself within in the arts and culture field. She looks to incorporate her love for business, people, and dance together to create a world of creativity and harmony.
Shreya Gupta
Originally from India, Shreya attended Dyal Singh College, University Of Delhi where she earned a Bachelor’s of Commerce with Honors. She worked as an assistant manager finance and project coordinator at Garg Heart & Multi Specialty Hospital Pvt. Ltd., where she assisted in project feasibility reports and project finance for the new hospital unit. Recently Shreya successfully completed her training with KEI Industries Limited in “Financial Projections”. On the basis of her projections for FY: 2019-2022 the company gave her the opportunity to attend overseas investor conferences. She attended Spark Capital investor meet in Mumbai India, Edelweiss Broking Ltd. investor conference 2018 in Singapore and Hong Kong. With an MBA from Suffolk University, she looks forward to be an established equity research analyst and contribute to the world economy by developing a deep understanding of the functioning of financial market.
Matthew Hajec
My past experiences helped shaped me into a driven and decisive person but has also taught me valuable communication and leadership skills. While that may reflect my character, my new found drive for financial services and business analytics demonstrates my curiosity and natural inclination to dig deeply into information for answers and insight. I am always interested in developing my career in the financial service and regulatory industry. As a Coast Guard Veteran I enjoy connecting with other Veterans to pass on the knowledge that I have to them to ensure a smooth transition into civilian life, and conversely, to learn from them as well.

Charlotte Jegou
Originally from Normandy, France, Charlotte attended the Sorbonne University where she earned a BA and MA in languages. She also attended Smith College for a graduate diploma program where she focused on American Studies. Prior to joining Suffolk University, Charlotte worked for the French-American Chamber of Commerce, New England chapter as a Membership and Accounting Manager where she developed her knowledge and understanding of non-profit environments. With an MBA and MS in Marketing from Sawyer Business School, Charlotte looks forward to working on projects related to new technologies and innovations that can improve people’s lives. Charlotte recently acquired a bike, and she really enjoys discovering new places she has never been to.
Namrata Joshi
Namrata is a Senior Manager at Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance. Namrata is very excited to join Sawyer Business School Class of 2020. She originally hails from Mumbai, India, she attended Mithibai College of Arts and Science, University of Mumbai where she earned a degree in Management Studies. She then went to Chetana College for completing her Post Graduate Diploma in Management with a concentration in Finance. As a part of her curriculum in PGDM she interned with Dalal and Barocha as a Financial Analyst and gained an experience in equity analysis. After completing her PGDM (Finance), Namrata was employed with Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance as a Senior Manager. Here she led a team of eight employees and was responsible for strategic decisions related to Operations department. Kenza Kabbour
Kenza graduated from Suffolk University in 2018 with a degree in Finance and a minor in big data and Business Analytics. She then had a chance to do an internship in the economic capital of Morocco, Casablanca, in a Pharmaceutical company, Cooper Pharma. She completed her summer internship by doing rotations within the finance and treasury departments. With an MBA degree from Suffolk University, Kenza is hoping to expand her business skills and connections.
Meghan Kelly
Meghan Kelly is exhilarated to be a Master of Business Administration student at Suffolk University. Growing up right outside of Boston, Meghan has always envisioned herself furthering her education in the city. Meghan graduated from UMass Amherst with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree and has completed two internships at Citizens Bank in the past which has further fueled her passion for business. Meghan was a Corporate Affairs intern outside of Boston as well as a Human Resources intern in Rhode Island. With an MBA from Suffolk University, Meghan plans to continue to expand her skill set and to work for a financial institution in Boston. In her free time, Meghan enjoys watching the Patriots and going to spin classes.
Raynaldi Kertwiguna
Raynaldi is thrilled to join Sawyer Business School’s Master of Business Administration program at Suffolk University this year. Originally from Jakarta, Indonesia, Raynaldi had just recently earned his Master of Science degree from Northeastern University, with a major in music industry and a certification in business administration. Prior to Northeastern, he spent years being involved in Indonesia’s major entertainment industry, particularly in music and online media. Part of his career was spent in Indonesia’s entertainment industry in which he was in charge of several projects for various artists and celebrities in the country, particularly in branding, creative direction, project management and content development. During his free time, he currently also writes and creates contents for an Indonesian online media startup, specializing in lifestyle, fashion, footwear, music and popular culture. With an MBA from Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School, Raynaldi looks forward to broaden his career horizons and become part of the larger world in the industry, as well as to adapt the knowledge and skills needed to become a successful entrepreneur in the future.
Toshiaki Koyama
Toshiaki started to work immediately at Japanese bank after graduated from a university. My half career in Loan department was spent in the evaluation of loan documents in Kyoto and in Osaka. The remaining career in Sales department was in sales department to sell financial instruments and to suggest scheme to decrease efficiently tax for client in Kyoto. Especially, he specialized in screening loan application for real estate such as apartment and housing for clients. In addition, he trained some young associates to teach financial basic knowledge such as finance and corporation evaluation and was responsible for the education of new employee.
Chad Kucera
I’m originally from Upstate NY (Troy) and graduated from Lemoyne College (Syracuse, NY) in 2005 with a BS in Business Administration. I moved to Boston four years ago seeking a change in scenery and to be closer to family and have loved every second. For the last 12 years I’ve worked for three different banks (both locally and in NY) holding many different positions within those organizations. Most recently, I worked as an Operations Associate for Eastern Bank here in Southie for 3.5 years. Although the experience has been positive, I want more out of life and my career. Thus, I decided to invest in myself, go back to school and get my MBA at Suffolk University this fall. In my free time I’m very active and enjoy all forms of fitness and exercise but love to also be close to the water or beach as much as possible during the summer months and snowboard in the winter.
Matthew Kynch
Matthew Knych received his Bachelor of Arts (Political Science), Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting), and Master of Science in Taxation from Bryant University (2014-2018). He is now attending Suffolk University as an accelerated 3-year JD/MBA Candidate. Matthew has experience as a tax intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers, a fellow at the Department of State in Rhode Island, and a peer tutor–concentrating in political science and accounting–at the Academic Center for Excellence. In his free time, Matthew rides his motorcycle.
Arielle Landaeta
Arielle has just started her position as senior financial analyst on Liberty’s East & West Regions Financial Accounting team. Her responsibilities include communication with international finance teams and assisting with a global ledger project. Prior to this role she was in a two year rotational program at Liberty Mutual called the Financial Management Program with finance positions in 3 different areas of the business. Arielle graduated in the class of 2016 from Bryant University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a double concentration in Finance and Applied Analytics and a minor in Communication. She received her SAS certification through completion of the Applied Analytics program. Arielle was a member of the Bryant University Women’s Rowing team and competed as a coxswain all four years including two years of racing at the Head of the Charles Regatta.
Shuhan Liu
Shuhan Liu is excited to be a member of Suffolk University for MBA program and expected graduating in 2020. Originally from China, and she earned a BA degree from Suffolk University Sawyer Business school with Marketing and Global business majors. During the undergraduate summer break, she began to explore the skills and knowledge that she learned from the school through internships and volunteers in China. She had short-term working experiences in Shanghai CPhI Pharmaceutical exhibition and position as an administrative assistant of the exhibitor (Global Biological Co., Ltd). Her job was communicating with clients who cannot speak Chinese, introduce the company’s information and products, and then build the connection with clients. Shuhan also is a professional table tennis player and has unique experiences of coaching and leading competitions around the world. She spent more than15 years developing and training her table tennis skills. She is seeking opportunities to popularize and develop table tennis globally. With an MBA from Suffolk University, Shuhan looks forward to exploring knowledge and experience of different industries that are able to improve capacity in solving problems, while communication and leadership are the fundamental skills in any industry and job position.
Ryan Loughrey
Ryan graduated from College of the Holy Cross in 2015 with a degree in economics. He spent the first year after graduation at the software startup VMTurbo (now Turbonomic), working with C-level executives to secure new business on the inbound marketing and enterprise teams. Currently he works as a Transfer Agency Representative at Brown Brothers Harriman, where he has spent the last two years onboarding and maintaining new investors into the firm’s hedge and private equity funds. Over the past two years Ryan has actively contributed to United Way Boston, a program which strives to provide financial relief as well as educational success to students in the greater Boston area. When he is not working, Ryan enjoys spending time with family and friends, finding new music and playing guitar.
Rachel Mayer
Rachel graduated from The University of Arizona in 2015 with a degree in Public Management and Policy. She works for the Department of Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital in outpatient operations and focuses on pilots optimizing the use of clinical space across all divisions within the department. When she is not working, Rachel enjoys reading and eating her way through Boston’s North End.
Alison Melcher
Alison is half of the accounting department for a leading Boston architecture firm. At ARC/ Architectural Resources Cambridge she is responsible for daily accounting tasks and project management oversight. Her goal is to become CFO of a professional services company within Boston’s Architectural, Engineering, and Construction industry. Currently she participates in the Boston Society of Architects and the Boston Deltek Vision User Group. Her fifth anniversary at ARC is approaching along with the company’s fiftieth anniversary. After graduating in 2011 with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, Alison decided she’d rather be a patron of the arts. She regularly goes to concerts around Boston and can be found on the dance floor.
Tamaki Mochizuki
Tamaki graduated from Waseda University in Japan in 2001 with a degree in Literature. She joined KPMG AZSA LLC., which is a member firm of KPMG International. As a member of Strategy and Planning Department in the headquarters, she joined the projects that draft medium-term management plan and KPIs, managing implementation of action plans and the budget and updating strategies for the mid-term management plan. Tamaki organized volunteer tour to Fukushima, after the Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami. Tamaki enjoys watching sports, especially baseball and tennis. And she joined several orchestras as an amateur cellist.
Gabrielle Morani
Gabrielle Morani is joining Suffolk University to be a part of the one year Full-Time MBA Program. Gabrielle is born and raised in the suburbs just north of Boston. She completed her undergraduate degree at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. While in Florida she completed her bachelor’s degree in 2.5 years in business administration and also received Summa Cum Laude honors at the University. While completing a J-Term course, Gabrielle helped save the sea turtles by finding ways to protect their nests, and their homes. By picking up the trash that was left on the sand, Gabrielle was able to give the sea turtles a better start to their lives. This course taught students the benefits of civic involvement and the affect they have on the things around us. Gabrielle is hardworking; attentive, and driven when she is challenged. Gabrielle looks forward to the opportunities and experiences that will occur over the next year and can’t wait to get started!
Alan Nunez
Alan is a Web and Digital Media Associate for Partners HealthCare. In his current role, Alan manages the internal and external web presence for population health management including visual execution, technical functionality, and content production. Additionally, Alan critically evaluates new and existing websites for architecture, design, and usability testing. Prior to Partners HealthCare, Alan spent a year and seven months at IBM as a Digital Web Strategist. In this role, Alan analyzed traffic, responses and pipeline to maximize the efficiency and production of web organic influenced marketing contribution. He also collaborated across brands to improve web template designs, improved the visitor experience and shared best practices. Alan attended Western Connecticut State University where he earned his BA in Interactive Marketing. In his spare time, Alan is a personal trainer who enjoys helping his clients reach their fitness goals.
David Oberlander
David obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Government from Suffolk University in 2015, graduating Summa Cum Laude and being named a member Phi Theta Alpha, the National History Honor Society. Prior to pursuing a graduate degree from Suffolk, David worked as a shift supervisor for CVS Health. During his time there, he experienced first-hand the necessary processes that are required to maintain a business and advance sales. David hopes to use his degree to help further his future career plans and management skills to hopefully start a small business or help others manage their day-to-day operations more efficiently. In addition, David always enjoys a good puzzle and is constantly looking to try new foods to cook.
Andre Padilla
Andre Padilla is a prospective MBA candidate who is working to jointly complete his MBA and MSF with a concentration in Corporate Finance. Raised in Naples, Florida, he attended Suffolk University in Boston earning a BA in Global Business and Finance. Throughout his time as an undergraduate, his interests in Finance led him to an internship at Slepcevich Financial Group in his hometown. He shadowed experienced Financial Advisors through day to day operations and gave them suggestions to help attract more clients. After working in the Finance industry, he wanted to venture outside his comfort zone and joined a food/tech startup in Shanghai, China, called SideChef. He operated for 2 months as a Content Intern uploading recipes, articles, and social media to the application. During his time at SideChef, the application became the #1 Food App on the IOS store. Shortly after, Andre joined Search Fund Accelerator as a Private Equity Intern focused on performing extensive research on attractive industries. He was able to collaborate with Searchers to find businesses within those industries that fit Search Fund criteria and performed due diligence. When Andre isn’t burying his head into a book, he loves to play football and cheer on his Green Bay Packers.
Jillian Palmer
Jillian graduated from Suffolk University in 2014 with a degree in Marketing and Information Systems. She joined the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ MassIT department for one year as a Social Media Analyst before coming into her current role at BOX. Jillian currently works as the Manager of Human Resources for BOX Options Exchange, ultimately operating as an HR department of one. Jillian is an active member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). Outside of work, Jillian enjoys traveling, yoga and spending time at the beach.
Velinda Peralta
I play multiple roles at Southstream Seafoods, I assist multiple departments and directly report to the heads of Marketing, Sales, Accounting, and Operations. I started working there in 2015. It involves time management and prioritizing skills, but it keeps me busy which I enjoy. Currently, I am a JD/MBA student and starting my 1L at Suffolk Law. I completed my undergraduate career at UMASS University – Dartmouth with a B.S. in Business Administration. Prior to that I complete my first two years of college at the University of Rhode Island where I was part of the Women’s Rugby club sport.
Tri Pham
Tri Pham originally comes from Vietnam, a peaceful country in Eastern Asia. Last year, he won a fellowship to pursue his senior year at Keuka College, New York. After earning the bachelor degree, Tri Pham was offered another scholarship to his education in the U.S. as an MBA student at Suffolk University. His study will begin this Fall 2018 and is expected to finish by Summer 2019. Tri is a proactive person who loves joining out-of-classrooms activities to improve himself on both soft skills and to practice what he learned. He began to work in the position as the President of his University Music Club in his third year of college. Then, late of 2016, Tri took a Marketing Internship at Xkid – English club (Vietnam). In 2017, Tri and his colleagues founded 2 online businesses which were LINGOFX (English club) and Dérive (Jewelry shop). Studying MBA at Suffolk University, Tri aims to enhance his knowledge of Business and the market these days. With a great interest in Entrepreneurship, Tri hopes to contribute to the education industry.
James Piombino
James is entering the Sawyer School of Business after graduating from Alfred University in 2017, where he studied Spanish and Global Studies, minoring in International Business. James has taken on multiple marketing opportunities to gain valuable experience including market research for the New York State Department of Health, rebranding Alfred University, and marketing and community outreach for a local non-for-profit. James is excited to deepen his business knowledge and spark innovation in his future endeavors while being a strong leader, as he has already done in his career through numerous honor societies and leadership roles. In his free time, James enjoys playing soccer and looking for opportunities to travel.
Jenna Raimondi
Jenna Raimondi graduated from Westfield State University in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, concentration in Marketing, and a minor in Commercial Recreation and Tourism. She joined Copyright Clearance Center (CCC) soon after graduation taking on dual roles as an Account Manager and Sales Development Representative. She looks forward to her future in Sales working with Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies to provide SaaS solutions which simplify the research and development process. When she is not working, Jenna enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the great outdoors and discovering new local restaurants. She recently moved to Medford, MA and needs some suggestions!
Jesse Randle
Paula Schwan
Prior to Schwan Imóveis, Paula worked as an accountant assistant at Cisne Serviços Contábeis, in Brazil for three years. As an accountant assistant, she supported her managers preparing balance sheets and calculating customers’ taxes. In 2015, parallel with her part-time job at Cisne Serviços Contábeis, Paula interned at Schwan Imóveis as a real estate agent. After receiving her realtor credentials, she became an associate of Schwan Imóveis. Today, Paula works full-time as a realtor selling properties with rental income to clients who wish to diversify their investments. Paula graduated from UNISINOS, Brazil, in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in business management. Now, she is pursuing her MBA degree in finance at Suffolk University, Boston.
Nadezhda Seliutina
I am a recent graduate in BA Economics and International Relations from Sussex University in Brighton, UK. Areas I have been specializing in are Micro and Macro Economics, Economics of EU, International Trade and States role in the Global Politics. Additionally, I speak fluent Russian and English and have basic knowledge of German. During my undergraduate degree, I have worked as a manager at the interior door factory and, later at the car-servicing firm. Through previous management experience, I have gained knowledge of both consumer goods market and consumer service market. I was able to assist customers with their queries and create promotional projects, in order to attract more clients. As such, I have gained valuable skills in business management and production, and this has enabled me to improve my communication skills as well as developed my knowledge of an advertising system. Additionally, learning about the supply and production of the door factory allows me to have a better understanding of the structure of the factory at the manufacturing level.
While working, I became confident with my time-management skills and I can definitely work under time pressure. Overall, these experiences gave me invaluable communication and management skills, as well as challenged me to think independently and creatively. While studying I have also taken part in volunteering organizations, such as Oxfam, Amnesty International, Race for Life Running, and Helping Homeless Pets. Also, I was a vice chancellor in Russian Speaking Society at University, which allowed me to be a leader of a team that promoted Russian culture. For many years I am a regular runner as well as an active fitness person and recently I have become a Boston Judo member, which forces me to practice problem-solving even in sport.

Anna graduated from Bentley University in 2017 with a degree in Corporate Finance and Accounting and a minor in Computer Information Systems. She joined Liberty Mutual Insurance as a member of a two-year Financial Management program completing a rotation in Corporate Financial Systems. Anna currently works in Global Retail Segments Finance within the consolidated reporting group. When she is not working, Anna enjoys spending time at the beach, traveling and watching sports. She is also a certified Massachusetts Soccer Referee.
Zuzanna Sliwinska
Zuzanna graduated in 2017 from University of Lodz (Poland) with a degree in Business Management and few months later she started her master studies in the same field at the University of Warsaw (Poland). Her last year of bachelor studies she spent in Madrid (Spain) as an exchange student and currently she is participating in semestral exchange program at the Suffolk University. While studying in Lodz and in Warsaw she joined local sections of the international organization Erasmus Student Network, where twice she occupied positions of project coordinator. Zuzanna in her free time enjoys travelling and exploring new places which also brought her to another continent now.
Kyle St Cyr
Kyle graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2016 with a double major in Finance and Justice Studies. Upon graduation, Kyle entered a college hire development program at Bottomline Technologies, a Financial Technology company in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Kyle started in a Sales Analyst position where he led analysis and research projects to develop targeted marketing campaigns and increase revenue generation. He now works in Digital Banking Operations, primarily developing legal contracts with Financial Institutions. Kyle is a company representative for the Bottomline Technologies College Hire Program where he hosts on campus workshops and recruits prospective college interns and graduates from the Northeast region. He now assists mentees entering the corporate world to guide them through professional development. In his free time, Kyle enjoys being outdoors and playing sports. He is also a passionate fan of New England sports teams.
Christina Stetson
Christina has been working at Mass. Eye and Ear, Harvard Medical School Department of Ophthalmology since 2015. She currently manages dozens of educational, development, marketing, and faculty events each year. Her passionate, creative approach to event management has been recognized at all levels of the organization and has garnered an increasing number of responsibilities, a promotion to Events Manager, and an Administrative Assistant. Before moving to Boston, Christina spent the first half of her career in Columbus, Ohio at The Ohio State University in the Department of Ophthalmology, working her way up through a variety of roles until her promotion to a Program Coordinator position focusing on development, communications, and marketing. Christina completed her undergraduate degree in Philosophy at Franciscan University of Steubenville. Her past volunteer positions include Wellness Innovator for fellow Ohio State colleagues, Marketing Coordinator for the Columbus Catholic Women’s Conference, and Fundraising Leader for a five-person team participating in Pelotonia, a charity bicycle event benefitting cancer research. Outside of work, Christina enjoys culinary exploration, beekeeping, home improvement, and traveling back to Columbus to visit her large family, especially her 10 siblings and 26 nieces and nephews.
Kelly Sullivan
Kelly graduated from Providence College in 2015 with a major in Finance. She then began working in Liberty Mutual’s two-year Financial Management Program, which consisted of three rotations in various finance and accounting departments. After the program, Kelly joined Liberty’s Corporate Accounting Operations team as a senior accountant. Kelly has just received her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and Associate in Reinsurance designations. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys running and traveling.
Kim Thrasher
Kim graduated from Roger Williams University in 2017 with a degree in International Business. She worked at TRUMPF Inc. Manufacturing where she was an Executive Assistant. In her role she assisted the North American Senior Vice President in managing the Sales and Marketing department, coordinated with the Regional Sales Managers daily to receive and process customer orders. Consolidated sales figures daily, weekly and monthly. Assisted in planning company events and organized travel. Kim studied the German language as her minor at Roger Williams University, where she also studied abroad in Italy for a month. When she is not working, Kim enjoys traveling the world. She has visited Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France, Spain and Austria.
Emmaline Twitchell
Emma joined NEPC, LLC, an investment consulting firm based in Boston, in June 2016. She began as an administrative assistant and then moved into the Research Coordinator role. Emma manages daily operations on the Research team, oversees the internal research management system, handles emerging manager relationships, and monitors ongoing projects. Prior to joining NEPC, Emma worked as a program coordinator for a local non-profit and in the production department at a Maine news station. She attended the University of Maine, where she earned a Bachelor of Art’s degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies in 2014. In her spare time, Emma advises the Massachusetts Institute of Technology chapter of Pi Beta Phi sorority for women. She also enjoys hiking around the many mountain ranges in New England.
Xinyi Wang
Xinyi is excited to attend Suffolk University Master of Science in Accounting and Master of Business Administration programs of 2018. Xinyi has had an enjoyable four-year-experience in Suffolk Accounting from 2013-2017 and graduated with high grades and an honor’s scholar. During her undergraduate years, Xinyi worked in the Suffolk IT Service desk helping students and faculty with their computer and IT related problems. She also worked with Tunc Tanin, a self-employed accountant, helping low income individuals with their finances and taxes. After graduating, Xinyi worked in Accounting department of Resolute Management, a worldwide law & consulting company, analyzing reports from outside counsel, supporting accounts payable and receivable, and providing detailed monthly and quarterly reports for managements and client, and partners. With the MBA Program from Suffolk University, Xinyi is going to improve her skills of leadership, and looks forward for greater and more exciting opportunities within the accounting and management fields.
Hongyue Wei
Hongyue Wei is from China. For the last three years, he has been working as an educational assistant in a Canadian International School. Earlier than that, he worked as an intern in Nanning Foreign Affairs and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office. Apart from that, he also volunteered at China-ASEAN Expo, China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit and Guangxi Folksong Festival as an interpreter for three consecutive years. In the 45th World Artistic Gymnastics Championships tournament, he worked as an interpreter for team Puerto Rico. Currently he is in a MBA program of Suffolk University.
Marlon Wesh
Marlon Wesh was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps in 2015 with eight years of total service and several awards in tow. The first half of his career was spent in Human Resources managing teams in payroll and benefits administration, compliance, training and development, and career planning. After leaving the Marine Corps, Marlon, transitioned into civilian life by earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance with a concentration in Financial Planning, and interned at Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor Summer Analyst. Shortly after, Marlon, launched Wesh Financial LLC, a financial literacy and coaching business for young professionals and families. With a Suffolk MBA, Marlon is looking forward to building a fiscally and organizationally strong advisory practice bringing comprehensive financial services to everyday people.
Haley Wilson
Currently I work in the sales department as client support at Language Scientific, which is a translation company. Within this role, I am the first point of contact for day to day activities and client communication. I handle anything from project scoping to strategic project planning to invoice. Prior to my position at Language Scientific, I attend Lasell College. While at Lasell I studied business management with a minor in human resources and I graduate in three years. Also while attending Lasell I worked at the office of student’s activities. Through working at the student activities office I planned many campus wide events and was able to get to know many of the students and staff at laser, even outside my department. When I am not working I enjoy heading to Cape Cod, where I am from, to spend time on the beaches or enjoy the local small businesses.
Christopher Wong
Christopher, originally from Jakarta, Indonesia, graduated from Purdue University with a BS in organizational leadership, with minors in electrical engineering technology and communications. Previously employed as a corporate finance officer in a national market leader oil tanker firm, supporting the company’s growth through the use of multiple financing instruments. He is trying to use the MBA/MSBA dual degree program from Suffolk University to pivot his career to a data-oriented analysis or consulting, tying in his previous experience in engineering and programming with his formal business knowledge and experience. Christopher also invokes the entrepreneurship spirit, co-founding a service-based vehicle brokership company in Purdue University with his friends, tackling all aspects of creating a business is a much-welcomed challenge and something he looks forward to in the future. With the MBA/MSBA program from Suffolk University, Christopher plans to extend this entrepreneurship spirit into the big data world and would like to create some sort of service to further benefit companies by aiding them in making more well-informed business decisions through the use of data analysis. When not working, Christopher can be found reading self-help books in the park or in the gym pursuing his hobby as a competitive amateur boxer.
Gahyun Yoo
Gahyun Yoo received a BS in Business Management from Northeastern University with a focus in International Business and Strategy. During the school year she worked as a senior student coordinator with the Admissions Office to organize and facilitate various on-campus activities for incoming students. After her undergraduate degree, she served as the Program Manager at Computer Systems Institute, doing data-analysis and strategy work. Through her work, she developed a deep interest in academia, and hence went on to teach Business courses such as Contemporary Marketing, Business Foundation, Financial Services, Accounting, and Introductory QuickBooks. Gahyun is also a member of Northeastern University’s Women Who Empower Community and Boston Young Professionals Association. Her unique experience of visiting North Korea as a South Korean, sparked an interest on how to structure effective and meaningful collaboration across culture. Her work, travel, and teaching experiences have taught and given her a valuable insight about people and organizations. Gahyun decided to join Suffolk MBA specializing in Nonprofit program because she cares about women empowerment, and is interested in understanding how to structure and coordinate different groups in complex settings across countries and organizations.
