Do you have work experience? If so, where/what: Yes, I’ve been working in healthcare for the past 15 years. I currently work as a practice operations manager at Codman Square Community Health Center in Dorchester for the past four years.
Why did you choose to get your MBA? I have been on the clinical side of healthcare for over 15 years and became very intrigued by the business operations of health care.
What is your ultimate career goal? To become a CEO of a community health center or hospital to ensure that all patients have access to quality healthcare.
What has been your favorite part of your graduate experience at Suffolk so far? The professor’s at Suffolk are so helpful and resourceful. I really like that Suffolk offers free courses in Excel, and presentation skills through the edge workshops. I also really enjoy working with actual clients in several of my core courses to solve real business problems.

What advice would you give to incoming SBS grad students? Stay connected, stay involved. Make sure to utilize all that Suffolk has to offer and build strong relationships with professors and classmates. You will be amazed at the great connections you will make here at Suffolk.
