PERSONAL WORK

My personal work is focused in both digital collage and photography, each fulfilling a different creative purpose. My collage work is dramatic, personal, and often highly political. In often complete juxtaposition, my photos are very abstract & minimalist (apart from travel photography), usually allowing form to take precedence over meaning or thematic elements. My collage work often finds itself
exploring topics such as climate change, consumerism, and the perception of self in the digital age. In the photographic space, I enjoy removing context from images and creating distinct, simple compositions that explore the form of objects. Often, I like to work in short series, with each containing no more than
15 pieces. This allows for the final products to feel very self-contained and unique. It’s also convenient based on my daily workload and schedule.

PROFESSIONAL WORK
Cambridge health alliance

In the same vein as my personal work, my professional work is also political. My focus is women’s health advocacy and more generally, universal care advocacy. I’m currently part of the design team at Cambridge Health Alliance and previously worked for NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts. My work at NARAL was primarily digital, aiming at energizing a large and engaged volunteer base that the organization has built over the decades. This style of work was broken up by print mailings, event photography, and animation. My work at CHA is more focused on nitty-gritty print development, which focuses on billboard callouts, flyers, and informational health posters.
