Personal Work
Moving through the MAGD program provided me with a hyper-awareness of the fact that design is everywhere. And so, my eyes are wide open. I’ve learned to see in a more critical way, and to understand why certain images captivate me. I have a more intense appreciation for uncommon solutions, for dynamic use of color, for anything handmade, and especially for images that expose individuality. My personal work stems from a desire to document and share this way of seeing.
Professional Work
While producing promotional materials for Suffolk University, my experiences as a student, and as a parent of a student, and as an employee of the University, greatly informed the design process. I aimed to convey Suffolk’s richly diverse, vibrant personality by creating visuals that express student pride and accomplishment.
