A Life Designed

A Life Designed
A Life Designed, organized by Graphic Design faculty members Rita Daly and Keith Kitz, runs from February 21 – March 17, 2019.

A Life Designed features the works of seven alumni of the Masters in Graphic Design program at Suffolk University. According to Professor Rita Daly, “After many years of seeing students graduate from the MAGD program go on to the varied aspects of our design profession, we wanted to celebrate our graduates’ accomplishments in a unique way.”

In addition to design-oriented careers, we often apply our design and thinking skills to tasks beyond our professional work. As designers, we produce work powered by our own personal voices. We paint, draw, construct, write, record, perform; the mediums we are attracted to can vary tremendously. The question is: how does design intelligence influence the other aspects of a designer’s life and what are those results? In this exhibit, the participating alumni not only direct their attention to what they do as professionals but to the way they live “A Life Designed”.
