International Relations Major/Minor Requirements

The purpose of this major is to give students the preparation & tools necessary to pursue careers in international affairs, including the public sector, private companies, & independent sector organizations that operate in the international environment. It is also suitable for students planning graduate study in political science, law, or diplomacy.
Students with a concentration in International Relations must earn a Bachelor of Arts & have experience in a foreign language. For non-native English speakers, this second language might be English. For native English speakers, the choice of a second language will depend on individual background & preference but should be discussed with the student’s advisor. Want to join the major?
