Center for Academic Access and Opportunity (CAAO)

The Center for Academic Access and Opportunity serves as the administrative home of Suffolk University TRIO programs and the new First-Gen Forward designation by the national Center for First-Generation Student Success. Through the center, the institution is committed to helping prepare income eligible, first-generation, and underrepresented high school students, veterans, and undergraduates with their transition to college and grad school. Center for Community Engagement

The Center for Community Engagement creates lasting connections among Suffolk University, nonprofit organizations, and community-based organizations. We support projects that serve community-identified needs and enrich our students’ education. Get involved here.

They develop programs that:

  • integrate practical experience in the community with classroom learning
  • help students gain a deeper, hands-on understanding of social justice issues
  • help students establish an ethic of service, achieve personal growth, and develop their leadership skills
  • express and promote the value and acceptance of diversity in our communities
  • are based in mutually beneficial partnerships and reciprocity

Center for Student Diversity & Inclusion

The Center for Diversity & Inclusion facilitates discussions and programs with students that promote the principles of equity, inclusion, access and social justice. They  provide individual support, mentoring, referrals, and education to foster a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for all students—giving special attention to historically marginalized students and their allies. Counseling, Health, and Wellness

The Counseling, Health, and Wellness Center is a welcoming and safe place for all Suffolk University students. No matter your background, they are here with counseling and medical services as well as wellness education programs. Learn more or book an appointment here.

International Student Services Office (ISSO)

The International Student Services Office is the main resource for our international community. The ISSO serves as a key resource to the Suffolk community in the following areas:

    • Advising international students, scholars, and departments on immigration procedures and issues
    • Assisting students and departments with integration and cross-cultural communication
    • Developing and sponsoring programs for international students on topics including immigration, adjustment to American society and culture, academic matters, and university resources
    • Working with departments on inviting and hiring international scholars

IT Service/Helpdesk

At Suffolk, help with technology is always just an email or phone call away. You can drop by in person too at our two walk-in centers for students, faculty, and staff. Get your tech help here. 

Office of Disability Services (ODS)

The Office of Disability Services is committed to ensuring that students with disabilities have equal, effective, and meaningful access to all programs and opportunities at Suffolk University. With a student-centered approach, ODS fosters self-advocacy and self-determination, and promotes awareness that disability is an element of diversity. ODS aims to:

  • Advocate on behalf of students with disabilities
  • Educate faculty and staff on best practices when working with students with disabilities
  • Meet one-on-one with students to determine their accommodation needs and provide ongoing support
  • Refer students to resources on campus that will help them succeed
  • Educate the Suffolk community about the needs of students with disabilities on campus and at campus-sponsored events

RAM Print Shop & Copy Center

The RAM Print and Copy Center, operated by RICOH, offers a wide array of services and is available to all Suffolk faculty, staff, and students. It is located on the first floor of Sargent Hall (120 Tremont Street). More information, including hours of operation can be found here.

RAM Registration & Financial Center

The Ram Registration & Financial Center is Suffolk’s one-stop-service center where you can manage your student account, register for classes, apply for financial aid, make payments, request a transcript, check your loan status, and get answers to your questions. They’re ready to help with whatever you need – book and appointment here.

Safety & Security

Suffolk University is an urban school in a world-class city, and public safety is a top priority on our campus at all times. For this reason, Suffolk’s own University police and security staff operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Student Affairs

The Division of Student Affairs coordinates all functions of student life at Suffolk University, including student involvement in campus organizations, athletics, orientation, residence life, conduct processes, and commencement. Suffolk Interfaith Center

The Interfaith Center unites the Suffolk community via a number of set events and specific resources dedicated to our student, staff, and faculty of all backgrounds. Their resources include:

  • The University chaplain
  • Seasonal celebrations
  • Meditation and Yoga
  • Worship services
  • Sacred text study
  • Lectures and discussion groups
  • An interfaith room where individuals and groups of any religious tradition may gather
  • A meditation room
  • An inclusive ablution area

Veteran’s Services
