As of June, the United States has a death rate over 100 times larger than China. It has the most cases and the highest death rate in the world. The country waited nearly six weeks to release any federal regulations on social distancing or masks, and even now thirty states are not requiring masks statewide at all times. Some states have medical exemptions from the mask regulation and there is no strict monitoring for self-quarantine in result of privacy concerns. The country is still on a steady rise of tens of thousands of positive cases per day. Continue Reading
