The Suffolk University Law Review welcomed Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison as the featured speaker for the 126th Donahue Lecture.  Attorney General Ellison addressed the economic and social costs of state violence and civil unrest, as well as his role as lead prosecutor in the matter of the May 2020 death of George Floyd, in remarks titled “The Death of George Floyd and Breaking the Cycle of Inaction.”  The lecture attracted significant interest with a standing room crowd, an overflow room, and an additional 126 participants via livestream.  Included below are links to coverage of the event, photos, and a recording of the lecture.
