so i am home for the first time since school started. technically it’s my first “weekend home” from college. is it strange that i am excited!? hahaha
i wasn’t able to do this last year which was fine. obviously i survived. but i’m really excited that i’ll be able to do this occasionally throughout the year.
sometimes it’s nice to just escape for a little bit.
like i said last post, i have had a lot going on. there is so much to do at the beginning of the year! yesterday i helped with the first large tours of nesad this year. it was interesting to look out on all these perspective students and remember when i was searching for schools just like them. it feels like such a long time ago and at the same time, like it was only a few months ago.
i can talk incessantly (good thing i have a blog!) and i love when people ask me questions at information sessions about the school and about my perspective. if you every go on a tour here at nesad or at any other school always as questions, whatever pops into your head. i think it’s really important. you can learn a lot more by personally asking a tour guide or administrator a question than if you just wait for it to be covered during the presentation. there’s a chance your question will never be answered and no one likes to be left in mystery!
