Dos Nogales
In April 2024 Juvenilia presented in collaboration with Suffolk University’s Spanish Program and the Ford Hall Forum, a reading of Hugo Salcedo new play Dos Nogales
A dramatic reading of 2 Nogales, a new play by acclaimed Mexican playwright Hugo Salcedo, followed by a discussion with the playwright.
2 Nogales explores how inhuman situations fueled by extortion, kidnapping, human trafficking, and drug trafficking have accelerated the current exodus of migrants from Latin America. In 2 Nogales, considering this daunting panorama, Salcedo explores the conditions of vulnerability of refugees and their dreams for a better future.
