Local Health Report – State of New Jersey

The State of New Jersey commissioned the NCPP in Spring of 2016 to conduct a full program evaluation for a state mandated local health agency data reporting program. This evaluation includes extensive site visits, interviews and a national survey of local health officers. The report will also include a proof of concept for using the data being generated by local health agencies to predict organizational performance. A final report will be submitted to state regulatory bodies in March of 2017.

Performance Training – State of New Jersey

The NCPP was contracted to design and conduct a 10-week department-wide training on performance measurement and management. This training is the basis for the 2016 revisions of the State Health Improvement Plan (SHIP).

Road Commission Report – Bergen County, NJ

A combined program evaluation and best practice report on Bergen County’s application of road salt to county managed roads. This report was completed in summer of 2015 and included a survey of nearly 100 county officials from around the country to derive a series of recommended changes for Bergen County. Findings in this report are now written into county policy.

Accreditation Evaluation – Bergen County, NJ

In the summer of 2015, the NCPP was commissioned to conduct an analysis of the progress the county is making towards achieving accreditation through the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB). This study focused on continuing education of staff.

Performance Measurement Systems – Bergen County Parks, NJ

In the summer of 2015, the NCPP was commissioned to conduct an analysis of the progress the county is making towards achieving accreditation through the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB). This study focused on continuing education of staff.

Electronic Legislation System – Bergen County, NJ

A feasibility study was commissioned by Bergen County to review examples of public organizations using electronic legislation systems from around the country and how the county could employ those practices. The report included implementation procedures as well as projected cost savings.

RFP System – Bergen County, NJ

This study was completed in the spring of 2016 and examined the current process by which the county issues requests for proposals (RFP) and how this system could be more streamlined and reach a broader group of potential services providers.

CitiBike Feasibility Study – Bergen County, NJ

A feasibility study was conducted in the spring of 2016 regarding installing CitiBike kiosks in the country. The report included an analysis of which regions of the county would best support this system as well as implementation guidelines and projected costs/revenues.

Municipal Courts Survey – Newark, NJ

In the fall of 2014, the NCPP designed three new surveys for the Newark Municipal Courts. These surveys covered citizens conducting court business, employees, and legal professionals.
