Congratulations to the MAIA Award winners, who received their honors at NESAD’s Graduate Student Recognition Brunch on April 29. Liz Dalton and Susanna Cerni-Price were both recognized for Excellence in Thesis Design, and Farida Sadliwala received awards for both Academic Excellence and Excellence in Service.
BFA student Daniela Galindo gave a presentation about the importance of wellness in everyday life as part of her Honors program. Great job, Daniela!
Congrats to MAIA students Alicia Kosasih and Ekaterina Sultanova — both ladies were finalists in the Student Portfolio Competition at Launch: The ASID National Student Summit at the Savannah College for Art and Design last month!
NESAD took home top honors in both the graduate and undergraduate student categories at the IIDA NE awards ceremony at Royale on February 11th. Congrats to BFA student Katerina Gerontis and MAIA student Chris Boehm for their winning entries! Both students will receive $500 prizes for their submissions.

NESAD students swept the awards at this year’s Career Day competition — congratulations to all!
Congrats to MAIA students Farida Sadliwala and Lilit Revazian, who both took home awards from the American Society of Interior Designers—New England last month! Work was judged in 18 categories, with Farida winning in the Student Residential and Contract-Retail categories, and Lilit in the Student Contract Corporate category.
The students projects were featured on Suffolk’s website, where you can read more about their work and designs.
