LEED-certified kitchen designed by Associate Professor Karen Clarke graced the cover of Boston Magazine’s fall 2009 home edition, “Kitchen Confidential.”
Clarke, recently designed a private residence that was LEED-certified. The kitchen of the Lincoln home was featured in the Boston Magazine Home article.
The article discusses the thorough research Clarke did to make the kitchen environmentally friendly. For example, she chose lightweight cabinets that use less material than most kitchen cabinetry from a company that plants trees to replace those they harvest.
