Anh want to be the media person to spread the information and the different cultures to people. Students in China have major differences from the United States education. “It was just different, I was so quiet and everyone talks here”

Suffolk University has had students from more than 100 countries. This shows the globalization throughout the years and maybe the United States changed the visa policies so students from around the world can have the opportunity to study there.

There is a huge lack of representation of Asians in Hollywood. Even if a movie is focused on a racial topic, the protagonists most of the time are white to follow the deep history of racial hierarchy. When a person of the minority is portrayed they are most likely played into tropes and stereotypes. 

Although Hollywood movies are great at cinematography and storytelling, they haven’t had a good record of good representation of minorities of other races. Anh wants to learn the technical aspects of filmmaking while having good representation of minority groups and other cultures

The first two years living in the University’s dorm was great for Anh but the only downside was paying extra to stay during the holidays. For international students, it is hard because for first and second year students, they most likely don’t have other places to stay for the holidays.
