Beijing Opera Art International Poster Biennale
August 1 – September 6, 2024
Founded in 2022 by Dr. Li Xu, Beijing Opera Art International Poster Biennale is a visual celebration of the rich cultural heritage and influence of the renowned Beijing Opera. This competitive event invited designers throughout China and from around the globe to respond visually to the historic and contemporary impact of this celebrated art form. The 2022 collection features commercial examples as well as posters inspired by and created specifically for the biennale.

The Suffolk University Gallery is honored to share images from this collection, for the first time in the United States, curated by Keith Kitz, Assistant Professor, Art & Design.

This exhibit will be open beyond usual gallery hours and can be viewed whenever the Sawyer Building is open.
