Olivia Cerrone’s SF1185 “The Socially-Conscious Storyteller” class welcomed guest speaker Marco Rafala on April 26 to discuss his historical novel How Fires End, which deals with the legacy of intergenerational trauma, WW2, and immigration. Students engaged with Rafala through Zoom and enjoyed an interactive Powerpoint presentation, video, and Q&A discussion forum.
