Writer Christopher Castellani visited Olivia Cerrone’s SF1185 and SFH1185 — “The Socially-Conscious Storyteller” — on November 30 to discuss his book Leading Men, which was read by both classes. The students discussed Castellani’s novel, the creative process and academic revision, and the value of writing and literature in general. Castellani is the author of four novels, as well as the artistic director of the nonprofit creative writing center Grub Street.
