Students in David Gallant’s Beatles seminar attended a Beatles-themed magic show at City Winery on November 7th. Award winning magician John Duke Logan and Chachi Loprete, host of the radio program “Breakfast With The Beatles wowed the audience with magic, Beatles lore and trivia. Prof. Gallant was also part of the show as he presented on the anniversary of the release of The Beatles “White Album.” Several students won Beatles LPs in the trivia contest, though left disappointed that the magician did not make their instructor disappear, or saw him in half.
