SF 1165: Field Trip to City Hall with City Council President Ed Flynn

Bob Allison’s SF 1165 “History of Boston” class visited City Hall and spoke with City Council President Ed Flynn, whose district includes Suffolk University. The class had the opportunity to talk with Councilor Flynn about issues and opportunities in Boston, and about how city government works.
They also went to the top floor of City Hall to see the Boston Planning and Development Agency’s model room–a great overview of the city. Councilor Flynn asked them to stand behind the rostrum in the City Council Chamber, and he encouraged students to vote and to be involved with the city!
