What is a Personal Meeting ID and Personal Link?

Personal Meeting ID

A Personal Meeting ID, or PMI, is like your Zoom phone number. This meeting ID is unique to your account and never changes. When a Zoom user joins a meeting with your Personal Meeting ID, they are taken to your personal meeting room. Users may customize their PMI by navigating to their profile page on Zoom’s website and clicking ‘Edit’ next to ‘Personal Meeting ID’.

Personal Link

A Personal Link is a link that connects anyone you share it with to your personal meeting room. It is a great tool to quickly and easily invite users to join you in a Zoom call. Users may customize their Personal Link by navigating to their profile page on Zoom’s website and clicking ‘Customize’ next to ‘Personal Link’.

Are there any size limitations on my Zoom call?

Zoom calls are limited to 100 participants at a time but have no time limitations. If you need to host a call with more than 100 participants, please contact the IT Service Desk to request a larger meeting capacity. Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
