The Civic Discourse Series, sponsored by Suffolk University and The Boston Athenæum, is an annual series of presentations devoted to a topic of national significance.
In its second year, the spring 2010 series examines literacy and democracy, presenting a wide range of viewpoints around one of the most pressing issues of our day, including literacy as a ladder to success and various programs supporting literacy development.
Events take place at the Athenæum and at Suffolk University’s Beacon Hill campus.
