Jacob was in love with Laban’s youngest daughter Rachel. In order to marry her, he had to work for Laban for 7 years. He did work for him but Laban then tricked him by giving him his oldest daugter Leah instead, but he refused. He then worked 7 more years in order to stay with Rachel. Leah was unable to have kids, so God opened up her womb and allowed her to have 4 sons, which made Leah feel that Jacob might love her now that she was able to have children, but he always had love for Rachel.
