ways to increase gas mileage

Ways  to Increase Gas Mileage

There are many way that automakers using to increase gas mileage and enhancing the performance of the cars

Hybrid car

A hybrid car is a vehicle that uses two or more distinct power sources to move the vehicle . it gives the best of both , it combine  the power and the rang electrical engine with environmental benefits of an electric motor . It takes off at low speed , the car will run on electric power only which mean zero fuel consumption . Under high acceleration the petrol engine kicks in and take over the job of the driving wheels . It also send power to the generator which recharge the electric motor battery . in return the electric motor gives the driver more power and torque while reducing fuel consumption . in The hybrid system , when the car in breaking or coming to stop the system keep it’s kinetic energy from the turning wheels and the breaks , it confer that into electrical energy and store it into the battery where it can be used in the future .

Start – Stop Engine

Start – stop engine will shut off the car when the car is fully stopped , so when coming to complete stop in traffic and remove your foot from the break the car is going to shut off to save on emtition  and fuel. As soon as the driver takes his foot up the break the car starts right back up and can continue driving

CVT (Continuously Variable Transmissions )

CVT is a method of transferring power from an engine , which maybe  used in consumption  engine or an electric motor . In case of electrical motor , these are usually controlled electronically and so CVT is more benefit when it is used with consumption engine as a method of transferring power to the driven component. The main advantages of CVT are providing a comfortable  driving and saving up to 7% of fuel consumption.
