The 2019 Sherwin-Williams color of the year Cavern Clay is the main inspiration for this New York City luxury apartment located just steps from Carnegie Hall. Cavern Clay contrasted against the moldings dark green/gray color functions as the unifying element in the condo much as a symphonic theme unifies a musical composition. 
This color duo is presented boldly across the walls and ceiling in the living room and entry, then subdues slightly in the dining room, and even more subtly along the ceiling of the kitchen. The primary duo is then elaborated upon and enriched by the light gray of the walls, and the white of the ceiling.
Finally, like a musical cadenza, the kitchen is accented with the sharply contrasting Fabulous Grape color in the alcove.
