A vibrant location. A thriving community.
Suffolk University is transforming the 11-story 101 Tremont Street office building into our sixth residence hall. Set to begin opening in fall 2026, this building will retain its historic character while offering students a wealth of modern conveniences. This initiative will help us achieve our twin goals of accommodating 50% of our students on campus and relieving pressure on Boston’s housing market.

Project Overview

Sustainable, accessible, and welcoming, 101 Tremont makes an ideal home for Suffolk Rams.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Accommodating Our Students:
Suffolk’s sixth residence hall will house approximately 280 students.

  • Addressing Housing Demand:
This acquisition offers a sustainable, long-term solution to Suffolk students’ demand for on-campus housing.

  • Enhancing the Cityscape:
This adaptive reuse project will simultaneously boost the student experience and Boston’s vitality.
